The Digital Arts Foundation is a private organization that has long been dedicated to exploring and experimenting with creative thinking in the technological society. Since 2008, we have organized the Taipei Digital Arts Festival and numerous exhibitions and performances in the field of new media. We collaborate with both internal and international partners to establish platforms for advancing new art forms. In recent years, we have paid special attention to the development of XR, immersive theatre, and AI. Through our own technology research and collaborative work with artists, we explore new possibilities in art and activism.

Notable new media or immersive exhibitions

“Digital Common Sense VR,” launched in 2021 through a collaboration between Very Theatre and the Taipei Film Festival, showcases French VR works to explore immersive technology in artistic creation.
The 2022 “Fest Yet-to-Come” highlights five Taiwanese VR pieces, reflecting bold aesthetics and diverse experiments in spatial and viewing experiences.
The Concept Museum of Art (since 2018) further extends these explorations by rethinking how art can exist and be experienced in digital and conceptual forms.
